• Admission to PSI is non-selective but the academic programme is demanding. The school, however, is structured to accommodate a range of academic abilities.

• Admission is conditional on age level and subject to vacancy.

• Nursery class acceptances are provisional for the first one-week period as not all children are ready for a school experience at the age of three.

• Admission and class placement from Transition onwards will depend upon the student's ability in English, Mathematics and Urdu and an evaluation of the student's academic performance in the four-day trial period.

• The school reserves the right to adjust a student's class based on his/her needs as revealed through classroom performance and testing.

      REQUIREMENTS

• The basic requirement is that students should be able to function normally in a regular classroom..

• Children taking admission in Nursery must be toilet trained.

       PROCEDURE

         The following steps constitute the admission process.

• An interview with the student and family by the Principal or Admissions In-Charge is the first step. Current academic records and those from previous schools should be brought along.

• For placement in the appropriate class, the child is required to spend four full days at PSI. However, if regular classes are not being held due to a holiday break, the child will be tested in English, Urdu and Mathematics.

• An admission form will be given to the parents upon satisfactory completion of the four-day trial period or on the outcome of the test, as the case may be.

• The completed admission form along with supporting documents (copy of the birth certificate and a school-leaving certificate from the last school attended) must be handed over to the school office on the assigned day.

• Admission shall be deemed confirmed after the payment of dues.
