Rules & Regulations

Circulars:

Circulars go home regularly to inform parents about timings, examination dates, Parent-Teacher meetings, school events, activities, important dates and trips etc. For children of the same family, the circular is given to the eldest sibling. Special circulars are sometimes handed over to the person coming to collect the child. The circulars should be kept in a folder by the parents for reference. Circulars are stapled in the diary for younger children. Signing the diary on a daily basis will ensure that you receive all circulars, and also help you keep abreast of the academic progress of your child/ren.

Attendance:

Regular attendance is of prime significance. Whenever a child misses school on account of unavoidable circumstances, parents should not expect the teachers to go over the lessons missed when the child returns.

Leaves:

a) In case a child is sick with a minor illness, the school office should be informed.

b)The child’s bag must be sent in the morning for homework and class work, latest by 9:30 am, and be collected from the school gate at home-going time.

g) In case of long absences in Classes Transition to IV, getting the missed out work covered will not be the sole responsibility of the school. Though we will facilitate, it will be the parents’ responsibility to copy out the work from the classwork and homework diaries. For senior classes, the students themselves will be responsible for completion of missed out work. Going over the lessons with the absent pupil depends upon the free time available to the teacher during the games and art periods or after school.
