Each year, the students of Class VI look forward to the much awaited trip to Lahore which is a unique experience, not only due to its educational value but also as a lesson in sharing the caring. The students are required to adhere strictly to the planned schedule. This non-stop roller coaster ride helps in teaching them punctuality as well as discipline.
Students visit places of historical interest like the Lahore fort, Badshahi mosque, Lahore museum, Jahangir’s and Nur Jehan’s tombs; the highlight of the visit being the Wagah border, which certainly evokes patriotic sentiments in them. It is a joy to see enthusiastic young faces cheering away at the top of the voices.
Of course, a trip to Lahore would be incomplete without sampling the famous Lahori cuisine, another attraction of this wonderful trip. Food connoisseurs look forward to dine at ‘The Village’ restaurant, Pizza Hut and Nando’s, not to forget the scrumptious snacks from Coffee, Tea and Company.
We Inshallah plan to leave by Air on the morning of Thursday, Feb 24th and be back via motorway on Sat, the 26th.
